HARRIET TUBMAN HOMES
DORMATORY STYLE LIVING
Our program is a government funded dorm style living for 18-21 year olds who have aged out of the foster system. We house 5-8 youth per home in an apartment model for independent living.
EDUCATION & CAREER BASED
We provide a program that is geared towards ushering our youth into adulthood by helping them get the necessary skills to set educational and career goals and excel at achieving them.
FAMILY ORIENTED STAFF
We are a team of foster parents and youth advocates that understand the importance of creating a healthy family like environment so that our youth can make a healthy transition into adulthood and be an asset to the community in which they will enter into.
GROUP & PRIVATE COUNSELING
Our program provides weekly group counseling along with a social worker for our youth to ensure that they are provided with all of the assistance that they need to achieve their goals and program expectations.
MENTORSHIP PROGRAMS
We are accepting volunteers and mentors. College and High School Community Service credits.
SPONSORS & DONORS
We are always looking for community and business sponsors and donors.
